1 month & half to go …
FOUR FOR MY YEAR END SALES
The last time I bought English books for myself was on 2010.
I lost my reading habit for 2 years š
But I took it back a few weeks ago after I finished reading The Alchemist.
My fiance sent me The Alchemist last year.
But I never touched the book until a few weeks ago.
The book was with my ex boss for one year reading. LOL š
I fell in love with The Alchemist and the Paulo’s writing.
So, I want more from Paulo š
I was thinking to go toĀ Fahrenheit 88Ā , KL to buy some comfy leggings from UniqloĀ and enjoy my year end sales window shopping at KLCC or Pavilion.
But, I have no more leaves š¦ and I’m worried my fiance won’t let me spend my money for the leggings š
So, I changed my plan.
Instead of shopping at Uniqlo, I did book shopping online.
I purchased 4 books via MPH Bookstore OnlineĀ on 18 December 2012
And today, I got all the books š
Taadaa …
Sure, I will order some more books fromĀ MPH Bookstore Online.
So fast and I can’t wait to read them.
I am not sure which one I should read first.
But my heart wanted to explore One Day by David Nicholls.
I hope it don’tĀ disappointingĀ me š
ENGAGEMENT
On this date last month, I got engaged to my 3 years and a half long distance boyfriend.
Yes, you read it right. Long distance boyfriend š But, I’m not going to tell you about
- How I met my long distance love.
- or How to survive a long distance relationship.
I’d like to talk about has anyone’s relationship changed after getting engaged?
I know that mine had. I wouldn’t say that mine have much. But, maybe in some ways things are more like reality and an adult-like š
We are just growing up and getting used to the idea of taking care of each other for the rest of our lives.
We are very much in love and things are still amazing, it just seems more real, I guessĀ because now it is official that we are going to be married soon! š
And I am also a lot more relaxed with him now that we are official although I am stressing out about future planning!
It’s just a lot more exciting to know that you will have a partner for the rest of your life and you wont be alone!
Sick in love! š

10 THINGS ABOUT ME
First of all, I am a beginner, so we should know thereās a bigger room for improvement. Iām still learning and hopefully everyone could support and your comments are most welcome!
Second, before I proceed with more stories or mishaps or whatever things going on around me…
I would like to tell you a few things about me..
1. I am a right-brain person. Sorry, I hate anything related with numbers. Art, philosophy and history are my passion.
2. I have problem to stop my legs from moving/shaking. Donāt worry, it is not a disease. Itās just a bad habit of mine. If they actually stop, I must have been sleeping š
3.Ā When my mood gets very bad the only thing can make me calm down are cats! Gemuk is my adorable fat cat š
4. I love everything white. It’s shows I am a clean and simple š
5. I lost my sketching, drawing and painting skills since 7 years ago. I hope I can spend about 20 minutes on paper everyday š
6. I am learning Turkish at the moment from the comfort of my own home which isn’t in a Turkish-speaking country. I wish by the mid next year, I can speak Turkish well š
7. I do use Skype! everyday better than my cellphone. It’s free and high quality for me to talk with my fiance.
8. I don’t hate durian, budu, cencaluk, tempoyak, petai, jering but the smell of them are just too overwhelming and make me dizzy. I never taste any of them in my life except for durian. I used to eat durian when I was a kid but I stopped eating it when I was 14 years old.
9. I can’t stand with dirty and messy people. No! I am not a very cleanaholic. I even can eat street food or use Ā public restroom. But, I love to see my own spaceĀ clean and shiny, neat and tidy, organised and systematic, fluff and dust free.
10. Lastly, everyone should know this: I respect all people. So, don’t step on my tail or you’ll see my horns grow. hehe š
P/S: I know my english sounds awkward. Iām not anĀ EnglishĀ native speaker and hardly get Aās in school but I try my best to improve myself. Let just see this blog as me practice myĀ English š
A SKETCH OF LOVE
One guy in Turkey, one girl in Malaysia. They knew each other onĀ InterpalsĀ site on 2009.
They became friend and talked everyday on net.
Until one day, theyĀ realizedĀ they love each other more than a friend.
The guy planned to visit the girl for the first time in his life after 3 years in a long distance love.
He bought a flight ticket and came to Malaysia for the girl.
The first meeting was the bitter-sweet moment for the guy.
The girl arrived late at the airport and made the guy waited for her about 2 hours.
The guy was upset and mad with the girl.
When the guy saw the girl for the first time, his mood turned to be happy.
And for the first time in their life, they can touched each other.
They hug each other and everyone in the arrival level watched them.
But they didnāt care as they felt like the time paused.
It was just like a movie.
One morning, the guy taught the girl how to swim in the beach.
They swam to the little deep.
Suddenly, he stepped on baby stingrayās barb which was buried in the sand.
He knew he couldnāt let the girl drown in the water.
He hold the girl even he felt so much pain.
It was the bitter moment but the sweet memory for them.
They cried before they leaved each other.
The guy back to Turkey. The girl was so sad. She cried all night long.
Goodbye was the hardest word for them.
The girl went to Turkey to meet the guy after their first meeting in Malaysia.
It was a long journey, more than 15 hours from Malaysia to Adana.
But the hours was not a big matter.
The guy took the girl to his workplace and introduced her to his boss and staffs.
The next day, he made another surprise. He brought the girl back to his hometown to meet his parent.
The girl felt like a princess.
That was the āserious thingā he did for her.
The girl said ā Seni seviyorumā to they guy.
The guy replied ā Ben seni seviyorumā
No real relationship without fighting and sulking.
The guy wished the pillow was her.
The girl missed him so much so she hug Winnie the Pooh the guy gave to her.
They made a plan to be together.
But, the plan is not easy like they thought.
They have to face many obstacles just to be together in real world.
But, they will survive for the sake of love.

29 years for USM
She said ā Itās not easy for me to leave this job but I had to do it for my beloved husband. I worked for 29 years and now itās a perfect time for me to leave. Some of my staffs asked me to wait for a few months to get retired so I can get new salary, but I canāt wait. I donāt mind about it. My current salary is extra enough for me. My husband needs me more than anyone else. My job needed me to work 24 hours. I had to leave my husband many times in 29 years because of my duty. Ā I thank to him for his understanding and sacrifice. Thank you so muchā.
She was the person who interviewed me for the position I have now.Ā I got two interviews with her.
One for Librarian position and another was Administration Officer.
I remember she asked me about my brooch I wore with my Kebaya dress.
She said āI noticed you like to wear brown dress and animal brooch. Do u like the animal brooch instead of flower brooch?ā.
That was a trick question to trap me Luckily I got the job
Thank you Mrs. JB for choseĀ me among other candidates.

HOMEMADE TWISTER
Since a few days ago, I was craving for Iskander doner.
But I know I couldnāt find it here š¦
So, I decided to prepare a homemade Twister for my break-fasting meal.
I found the frozen potato wraps, some slices of chicken bologna and chicken nuggets in my fridge.
I chopped some cabbages and baby tomatoes.
Deep fried a slice chicken bologna and 3 pieces of chicken nuggets (cut into Ā small pieces).
Heat the wraps in the microwave and put the vegetables on it, add some pepper, thousand islands and chili sauce, a slice of deep-fried chicken bologna and tiny deep-fried chicken nuggets.
Then, I rolled up the wraps as tightly as I can. It was so tasty like KFC Twister.
Next time, I no need to drive-thru for KFC Twister. I can made it by myself.Ā
